WFW

Today I took part in the Wellington Fashion Week Photographers Exposed competition, We had 2 hours to take to Lambton Quay with our model to get an image that captured what Wellington's fashion and culture means to us. A friend of mine, the total babe Bec, came down from Masterton to help me out. I scoped out locations yesterday, and found a super awesome building down by the beehive that had a moat around it, and had all these ideas. When I turned up there today there were 4 other photographers already present and set up, with their portable lighting kits and multiple models and assistants. So we moved on to see what else we could find! We came across the Law School which has beautiful architecture and tried a few poses and angles, and when the sun briefly came out I got this shot.
Results are out on Friday, I'll let you know how it goes!

Macaroon/Macaron

This batch was perfect. And delicious.
The only thing I must say is that it's important to have the baking paper the right side up.
